W92 Replacement Locking Tilt and Turn Window Handles
Fitting this replacement tilt and turn window handle is very easy to do. This is a spindle based tilt and turn window handle with a 7mm square spindle in three different lengths of 32mm, 38mm and 44mm. You can select one of these lengths when ordering through the prompt on the page above. As long as your current handle has a 7mm square spindle and the two fixings are 43mm apart between their centres then this is the replacement handle you need for your tilt and turn windows. Due to the nature of the window application being tilt and turn or turn and tilt the emphasis will be on safety and here the W92 is nothing short of revolutionary with its lock in all positions feature. This means you can turn the handle and lock the handle from moving any further should you be worried that the next turn will cause safety concerns with the window being controllable by a child. Even more impressive is the fact that the handle can be locked in a tilt safe mode meaning the handle will be open to turn for the tilt position but key locked from turning any further. To enable this feature you need to turn the key only a quarter of a turn and not a full 180 degrees.
W92 Tilt and Turn Window Handle Sizes, Finishes and Useful Information:
Base width is 32mm, base length is 65mm, handle depth is 55mm. The handle shank is 117mm long from the centre of the key locking barrel.
The polished gold finish is close to a brass polished finish but has the extra protection of a PVD coating which gives much longer protection against surface degradation and scratches etc. Our black finish is a matt finish and is stunning and our range of colours is completed with a satin chrome, polished chrome and a semi-gloss white colour. The white and the black tilt and turn handles are made from an aluminium alloy and the satin chrome, polished chrome and PVD gold handles are made from a zinc alloy. Zinc alloy is a heavier material than the aluminium alloy. The white finish has a slight sheen to it and is a powder coated finish with all other finishes being electro-plated. The product is made in Germany and is the high quality you would expect from a manufacturer that takes care to produce quality products time and time again!
