Thumbturn escutcheons, what are they?

These are simple lock covers with an inbuilt thumbturn to operate the lock inside the door. They can be found on bathroom doors mostly but also have other applications.

Do these escutcheons come as a pair?

Yes they all come as a pair, or set, for one door. All fittings are included.

How do you fit these escutcheons to a door?

They are normally screw fixed each side with self-tapping screws using a sub-plate and then either a push-on plate or a threaded plate to finish them off.
