W93 Replacement Locking Night Vent Casement Fastener
An ideal replacement timber casement window handle that can be used for many designs of timber windows. Supplied with two wedge catches for a choice of an angled frame or a flat frame, a key and the colour matching screws. This casement fastener can also be used on windows with weatherseals as its strong construction will allow the window to pull in under reasonable resistance where the seal is 2-3mm compressed. If in any doubt about the type of timber window please see our casement window handles guide. This product is beautifully engineered and will rarely disappoint. Such a strong ‘feel’ with a smooth but firm opening action and made from a high quality zinc material that gives this casement window handle a real ‘weighty’ feel. It is very rare these days to find anything of such high quality at such an affordable price. The real feature of this handle is the inbuilt locking night vent position. Only a small gap but enough to retain some level of security to the window and a suitable level of trickle ventilation. The key is a quality design too and fit snugly into the barrel in a way that oozes quality. A firm click and a positive drive to the key engagement ensures that the key is retained in the casement handle without the potential for keys to drop onto the floor.
Technical Details About The W93 Locking Night Vent Fastener
This locking night vent casement fastener is tested to many standards but the important ones are:
• EN 1670:2007 where the product passed a grade 5 salt spray test to 480 hours under accelerated spray tests.
• Inhouse operational tests exceeded 50 000 cycles.
• Used on a PAS24 security test for a compliant window.
Quality fittings like this need to be cared for so bear in mind a few maintenance tips and your handles will perform and look as good as new for a very long time into the future:
• Routine but careful cleaning involving only a dry cloth. No chemical cleaners or similar.
