A fixed position window restrictor that allows a ventilation gap of approximately 100mm (6inch restrictor) and 150mm (10inch restrictor). The restrictor can only be released by removing the fixing screws. With the restrictor concealed between the frames there are no unsightly attachments to be seen on the main window surfaces. Can be used on aluminium, PVC or timber windows with a gap greater than 13mm between the frames. Do not use this restrictor if the window can be used as a fire-escape route. The gap of 13mm is the same size as a normal window stay found on a typical double glazed window.
Window Restrictor Technical Information
Arm length between pivot points is 100mm and 175mm for the 6 inch and 10 inch window restrictors respectively.
The R03 window restrictor can be positioned to various opening gap sizes dependent on the positioning within the window rebate.
The R03 can be adjusted to provide a rigid window stay position to an open window when the small screw is tightened.
Stainless steel and Zinc Alloy construction.
Where windows are present with the handle at the bottom then it is recommended to use two restrictors to ensure a strong enough brace of the window at the corners where safety is important.
Restrictors are universal to open both left and right handing.
