More Details about the LB8 Deluxe 12 inch uPVC Letter plate
To fit this 12 inch upvc letter plate requires a minimum aperture through the door measuring 264mm x 48mm. The overall size of the letter plate is 305mm x 76mm.
Made from a zinc alloy through the process of die casting this 12 inch uPVC letter plate is nothing but quality. Such a stable base material allows for excellent finishing and the superb quality of finishing is further enhanced with a PVD* coating on our polished chrome and polished gold letterplates. Take note here that we have a stainless steel uPVC letterbox with coastal properties. As the complete surround and the letterplate itself are made from metal there is a real look of quality and precision, coupled with the modern day aesthetics you would expect of a letter plate fitted to a modern high quality door.
*PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) weathering tests in accordance with British Standards EN 1670:2007 show expected high levels of resistance with Grade 5 (480 hours of salt spray testing) on the polished chrome and the polished gold letterplates. The satin chrome reached Grade 4 – 240 hours.
