12" Side hung uPVC window hinges (H01) - Technical Information
Please note this hinge is for side hung windows where the hinges are fixed to the top and bottom of the window and the track length is 12 inch long by 18mm outer width.
This 12 inch side hung upvc window hinge is used for a normal double glazed window where the maximum opener weight is 22kg and in general terms is a upvc window with the sizes 300mm - 650mm width.
The opening angle of the upvc window using the 12 inch side hung hinge is approximately 61 degrees and is achieved via a 5 bar construction riveted to a sliding plastic block with an integral brass screw for friction stay adjustment. This side hung upvc friction hinge is made in the UK (stamped as such) and is made from ferritic stainless steel.

Fixing sizes can be referred to via the diagram under the main picture above or summarised as:
Track fixing (length 307mm)
Sizes from the cap end: Hole - 15mm | Slot - 30mm | Hole - 215.5mm | Slot - 301.5mm
Arm Fixing (length 250mm)
Sizes from the corner end: Slot - 31.6mm | Hole – 114.5mm | Slot - 242mm
