Replacement Stainless Steel uPVC Door Handles
The D272 upvc door handle is suitable for locks with the following fixing details:
- Lever centre to key-hole centre: 92mm
- Screw centres: 211mm
- Top screw centre to lever centre: 75mm.
- Door thickness between 40 and 70mm with the screws and spindles supplied.

Technical Information:
Exterior upvc door handle plate/lever is made from 316 stainless steel containing 16% chromium, 10% nickel and 2% Molybdenum. Molybdenum gives much more resistance to corrosion in chloride environments like coastal areas.
Internal upvc door handle plate is 304 stainless steel containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel for resistance to cleaning. 304 is a widely used stainless steel.
Corrosion test:
Independently tested to BS EN1670:2007 Grade 5 achieving 480 salt hour spray but achieved 1000 hours. Grade 5 is the highest test.
Strength test:
Independently tested to BS EN 1906:2012 for cycle testing to 200 000 cycles under load. Axial strength testing achieved the highest rating of grade 4 where a 100kg load is applied for 60 seconds.
Please note the screws and spindle provided are suitable for door thicknesses of between 40mm and 70mm only.
