Keeping ahead of  fraudsters is a major task for online traders and without the product development and protection provided by 3rd party credit card providers, banks and payment processors the task could be insurmountable. That is why HandleStore have looked carefully at what our service providers can provide and what our role should be within that.

Card payment processing is a job for the professionals so all our transactions are carried out on the card processors secure server not on our website. Handlestore.com uses two payment providers to carry out all its online transactions involving cards and both are PCI Level 1 standard. SagePay are our primary provider for approving online credit card transactions. Handlestore.com do not store or see any credit card details from online transactions and any telephone orders are fulfilled onscreen at the SagePay gateway only by trained telephone operators. No employee is allowed to write down any details during any part of a telephone order.

When you have entered your contact details within the secure area of our website you will then be sent to SagePay's secure payment website, which is protected by a 128-bit SSL certificate. This information is fully encrypted. Once within SagePay's payment system all sensitive data is secured using 256-bit encryption (the standards of security are the same as those used by the US government).
